In 2014 Lyapis Trubetskoy came (one and two) to Israel with their first and the last show in our country, but…
… after 3 years Sergey Mikhalok came to Israel again, without his new band “Brutto” but with his side-project “Lyapis ’98” where he sings his old songs with new, power sound. A lot of people thought that it will be show with fatty man on vocal with acoustic guitar, but it was real Lyapis Crew with rock-n-roll and jumps.
As I know some of people didn’t come to the show because they think that Sergey plays his old music for money and not for soul or desire to sing songs from his past life (when he wasn’t trained athlete ith tattoos), referring to the words from the song “The Jester”. I shot Lyapis Trubetskoy twice plus once Lyapis ’98 and you know what? It was the same band like in 2014 and it was awesome show with good vibes on the stage.
