I always thought that electronic music is kind of music for unemotional people who need untz-untz-untz instead of soul or fantasy.
As always I was wrong:) 2 years ago I found an interesting music video in YouTube, it was self-made-video from Brooklyn. American musician j.viewz played Massive Attack cover (or main theme from House M.D., if you want) on fruits and veggies. I was in shock. I started searching his music, I was listening and step by step I fell in love with electronic music, especially experimental electronic music which constructed from the different sounds (rain, heart beat, wind, etc.). I was wonder what happening in his head, when he creates his music.
I was a little bit confused when I found an information that j.viewz name is Jonathan Dagan and he is from Israel (but lives and works in New York).
I’ve always wanted to visit his show, but he was in the USA, and I was in Russia and Israel. And it’s happened! He published the information about his shows in Tel Aviv, and I wrote to Jonathan with asking about accreditation. At the same day I got it, plus I got an access to sound-check (thank you Oren).
I think that j.viewz is one of the most interesting electronic musicians in the USA (and Israel of course), here you can find his albums, his awesome website and video. My highest recommendation.
P.S: I hope it wasn’t the last chance for shooting j.viewz show.
And now you can try to find me on the video (little hint- the first line)
